YLHC cable, fully known as heavy-duty general rubber sheath aluminum alloy cable, is commonly referred to as rubber sheath wire. YLHC cable is suitable for household appliances, electric tools, and various portable electrical equipment or light mobile electrical devices with an AC rated voltage of 450/750V or lower, or for temporary construction use on job sites, capable of withstanding significant mechanical forces. The long-term allowable working temperature of the conductor should not exceed 60°C.
The YLHC cables mainly consist of multi-core cables, commonly with 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores, and 5 cores, with copper core cross-sectional areas ranging from 0.75 to several tens of square millimeters.
YLHC ---- Y stands for rubber insulation, C stands for heavy-duty cables. The inner sheath is also rubber insulated, and the conductor is made of aluminum alloy.
YLHC and YC have basically the same usage scenarios, but the biggest difference is the material of the conductors; YLHC is more cost-effective compared to YC.
