At the opening ceremony of the 2023 Minhang Technology Festival held on May 23, a series of new technologies and products closely related to people's lives, including smart pets, unmanned supermarkets, intelligent education, and AI exhibits, were showcased by local tech companies in the district, demonstrating the transformative impact of technological innovation on urban living from a familiar perspective.In February this year, the Shanghai Municipal Government officially released the "Plan for Promoting the Construction of the 'Dazero Bay' Technological Innovation Source Area." Taking this opportunity to advance the construction of 'Dazero Bay' as an innovation source, this year's Minhang Technology Festival will revolve around the theme "Science and Technology Innovation Source, Intelligent Creation of the Future," launching activities that enable technological innovation to empower industrial life and urban development, and foster a new pattern of innovation-driven development. Facing the future, cutting-edge technologies such as AI, synthetic biology, and translational medicine are sure to empower the further rise of 'Dazero Bay.'At the opening ceremony, 12 district-level innovation and research centers from Minhang District for the year 2022, 8 enterprises selected for the second batch of the "Zhangjiang Star" cultivation program, and 11 top 100 "Science and Technology Innovation Stars" were awarded honor medals to encourage tech enterprises to strengthen independent innovation and continuously enhance their hard technology capabilities, contributing new advancements to the economic and social development of Minhang.On site, the 3.0 version of the Minhang Science Popularization IP image was officially released, showcasing a highly appealing cultural impact. It is reported that the district's political consultative conference, science and technology committee, and hotdog collaborated to launch a limited-edition public welfare digital blind box - the Minmin Blind Box - for children with autism, and donated these digital blind boxes to 100 families of "star children." Opening a blind box allows recipients to randomly receive one of four digital blind boxes: "Maqiao Lion Dance," "Aerospace Pilot," "Subway Train Operator," or "Dazero Bay Maker."Children can use the digital blind boxes for free visits over the next two years to 10 science education bases, such as the Shanghai Aerospace Science Popularization Center, Shanghai Metro Museum, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Biotechnology Science Popularization Base, hoping to use the impact of science popularization culture to accompany "star children" out of isolation.
